| Hello, Does anyone know why the default font has changed in KDE? I did not change it myself, and in the Control center I still have good 'ol Bistream Vera for most things, but this one looks like a small fucked up version of Courier (new) or Andale mono, and are not very readable. And by default font I mean the ones that don't respect the ones I set in the Control center, like the menus in Thunderbird and Gaim for instance... Thanks, Wimmy -- Being owned by someone used to be called slavery. Now it's called commitment. |

Those "default" fonts you are talking about are mastered by gnome2, so it's not KDEs fault that they change. You could install gtk-qt Theme Engine, which in Gentoo is called gtk-engines-qt, this gives you the option to manipulate gnome2 fonts from KDE without use of Gnome2 configuration tools. //Aho |

An you can get the programs to look more like those in KDE, except that they do display those ok/cancel buttons in the wrong order (seems like gnome2 devels don't want to honor "gtk-alternative-button-order = true"). //Aho |
