| Has anyone ever noticed keyboard problems with 2.6.14 (15 and 16 as well) on their Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop? I'm finding sometimes I lose the letters 1,2,3,4 and 7,8,9 and 0 on the keyboard from time to time and have to reset the console by flipping back into console mode from X11 mode and back again. Very wierd. I'm wondering if this is a i8042 bug. I get this in the logs when this happens: May 17 18:45:24 lapdancer atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0x7f on isa0060/serio0). May 17 18:45:24 lapdancer atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes 7f <keycode>' to make it known. Any ideas? -- http://www.munted.org.uk Take a nap, it saves lives. |

I suppose I'll have to get the laptop repaired. -- http://www.munted.org.uk Take a nap, it saves lives. |
