| After days of wrangling with /etc/wireless, I got it -- almost. One problem remains. At boot, wlan0 sets up fine, but then dhcpcd fails, returning that "dhcpcd is already running on wlan0". Once booted, I must remove /var/run/dhcpcd-wlan0.pid and then run dhcpcd, or manually run "/etc/init.d/net.wlan0 restart". Either works. I don't know if the problem is in the wireless or net script or in some shutdown process. Any advice, pointers, etc. appreciated. Thanks. |

| Is the dhcpcd process trying to start up more than once? I think by default it is executed in the net.xxx script (xxx is the interface), so check to see it is not starting up on it's own using rc-update show.
