| Emerged Enlightenment, but it doesn't show up in the KDM Menu|Sessions choices. I tried to search for an answer, but couldn't come up with anything. /usr/share/xsessions has no enlightenment.desktop, a file which is not anywhere in my system. Any help appreciated. Thanks. -- |

From the /usr/share/e16/misc directory, there is an e16.desktop file. It reads: [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Name=E16 Comment=This session starts the Enlightenment (e16) window manager Exec=starte16 Icon= Type=Application This is for e16.8.0. If you are not using the enlightenment cvs build, then the directory _may_ be /usr/share/enlightenment for 16.7.2. The desktop file should be in the misc directory or somewhere in there. If I may suggest though, use enlightenment-0.16.9999 and add x11-wm/enlightenment -* to your package.keywords file. The cvs version is very solid, and has so many enhancements to 16.7.x. |
