 Firefox plugin directory. In Firefox, Edit|Preferences|Downloads|Plugins is empty, although about  lugins lists them all. To which of the following does Firefox1.0.7-r4 look for its plugins? ~/.mozilla/plugins ~/.mozilla/firefox/<profile>/plugins /opt/netscape/plugins /usr/lib/nsbrowser/plugins Any, all, none? --      |

In my case everything seems to be in /opt/netscape/plugins, except for the Java plugins, so it might a good thing to put them all there. Everything in /usr/lib/nsbrowser/plugins is just a link to /opt/netscape/plugins What does cat ~/.mozilla/firefox/pluginreg.dat and cat ~/.mozilla/pluginreg.dat tell you? Wimmy |
