Hello all,
I want to "emerge -u world", but the -p option tells me firefox and
xorg-x11 are blocking packages:
freetype and opengl-update (they are not in my world file).
The output of "emerge -upv world":

freetype-2.1.9-r1 isn't showing as stable yet. Based on the output above you
appear to be running a testing system. I don't so can't help there.

As you can see, you need to be running at least xorg-x11-6.8.0-r4 but if
you /are/ running a testing system then why hasn't xorg been upgraded
(6.8.1.902 appears to be the latest testing version)?

Not exactly, but some packages are specified with "~x86" in my
/etc/portage/package.keywords file. I only marked opengl and freetype
because portage wanted that for some emerges (I don't remember which!)

Well, I gave it a try (unmergeing the blocking packages), and xorg-x11 was
actually upgraded, but not firefox. To compile it now I've had to
mark it also with "~x86" (I had this idea after reading you Andy, so thanks!),
otherwise the compilation failed.
