how do i get temperatures show up with compaq deskpro 4000 is there any
sensors in my computer?

ksensors only displays what lm_sensors reports. You need to install
lm_sensors and activate the appropriate modules in the kernel config, then
configure the sensors program. Please refer to
http://secure.netroedge.com/~lm78/ for documentation. Once you have all
that up and running, ksensors should work without a hitch.
