Default Having Openoffice.org in my native language

Hi all,

My hardware does not allow me to compile Ooo using the 33 option to have
it in French. If I emerge openoffice-bin I have it in English.

Is it an undocumented way to have Ooo in French ?
Can I install some localiezd binary package I find on the net (.rpm ou
..deb ?)

Tx,

Have you tried ftp://openoffice.cict.fr/openoffice/localized/fr/1.1.0/ ?

Hope this helps,

David

Thank for your quick answer. I was wondering if there will be any
problems since this is not an "official" gentoo method.

That I can't help you with -- I found that link off the OpenOffice.org
site, and they didn't have any distro-specific information.

I would guess that if you uninstall your existing OpenOffice via
portage, then install this other one, all you'll be doing is keeping
your install seperate from the portage tree.

But that's just my 2 centimes -- haven't been using Gentoo all that long.

Salut,

David

La solution se trouve dans ce thread:
