I used ACCEPT_KEYWORD="~x86" it didn't work.
I tried to do something with /usr/portage/profiles/packages.mask
it didn't work

Try:

#emerge /usr/portage/media-sound/ecasound/ecasound-2.2.3.ebuild -pv

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] x11-libs/fltk-1.1.2-r2 +opengl
[ebuild N ] media-sound/jack-audio-connection-kit-0.71.1
[ebuild N ] media-libs/ladspa-sdk-1.12
[ebuild N ] media-sound/ecasound-2.2.3 +ncurses +arts +alsa +python +oss +mikmod +oggvorbis

I handle it myslef. I added ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~x86" to my make.conf
file. Now I know what mean bleading edge ;p
