| Trying to authenticate my account in irssi by doing "/oper AccountName Password" but when i type my account name & password it says "No O-lines for your host" i searched google & documentation on irssi site but come up with no answers... any idea whats wrong? |

That is because this has nothing to do with irssi, and everything with the IRC server. Sybren -- The problem with the world is stupidity. Not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself? |

The server determines who can become IRC operator, and from which host. Perhaps you need to contact the server administrator? Sybren -- The problem with the world is stupidity.
