| hello everybody I try to emerge openoffice from sources on my brand new gentoo. I've tried LANGUAGE=33 emerge openoffice and got an error message saying that the country code is not recognized. I tried then LANGUAGE=FREN as said in the error message. Same message I tried then with quotes and again the same error. Who has an idea on how to force a language in openoffice merging? Lionel |

| In the past, I was doing LINGUAS="fr" emerge openoffice or LANGUAGE="33" emerge openoffice, I don't remember. One of these two was working. Now, I'm fed up with such a long emerge which sometimes does not work, and I use the binary package, but, unfortunately, it is in English. I hardly see any difference in startup speed. Startup time is long anyway with openoffice. chmod 777 wrote: > hello everybody > > I try to emerge openoffice from sources on my brand new gentoo. > > I've tried LANGUAGE=33 emerge openoffice and got an error message saying > that the country code is not recognized. > I tried then LANGUAGE=FREN as said in the error message.
