| Hi, I have made modification to my package.mask. However, everytime I run a emerge --sync, the package.mask got written over. It is very annoying as I have to modify the file all the time. Any idea how to stop this from happening? Thanks JC |

That's the one he has been editing up until now. It gets wiped at every sync, hence he has to use /etc/portage/package.* instead! -- PeKaJe Sanity and insanity overlap a fine grey line. |
