| I'm having a problem with the ATI-Drivers. They were working when I was using a kernel complied by GenKernel. But I wanted to complie my own kernel and the ATI-DRivers no longer load properly when X-Windows starts. I remerged the drivers after I load my own kernel and tried to start X windows wth no success. I get the following output when I switch back to VT1 when X Windows doesn't load. /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/video/fglrx.o: unresolved symbol _mmx_memcpy /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/video/fglrx.o: Hint: You are trying to load a module without a GPL compatible license and it has unresolved symbols. Contact the module supplier for assistance, only they can help you. /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/video/fglrx.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/video/fglrx.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/video/fglrx.o: insmod fglrx failed Anyone know how I can resolve this so I can use my ATI-Drivers to enable OpenGL. |
