emerge -u gcc does not work. i changed my profile from 2004 to 2005.1
according to http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/migration-to-2.6.xml .

at this point the further compilation hangs.
does anybody know whats to do?

a simple emerge -u doxygen did it. i wonder why i didnt do it before.
