Hi!

If you leave out the .\o in the /etc/issue you won't get any .(none)
at logon time. It looks nicer. But is there any drawbacks?

This works too:

# echo 'foodomain' > /etc/dnsdomainname
# rc-update add domainname boot
----->8-----

If you never need a fully qualified domain name, I guess not.
