I've never had any emerge fail that didn't make sense.
Can someone interpret what happened here?
I suppose the key here is the bottom 3 lines ... any ideas why these errors appear for an emerge?
The refuse to truc is probably understandable if the file were in portage.

=====
Connecting to unc.dl.sourceforge.net[152.2.210.121]:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable

Continued download failed on this file, which conflicts with `-c'.
Refusing to truncate existing file `/usr/portage/distfiles/kemerge-0.7.tar.gz'.
=====

Thanks for any direction.

Default Re: emerge Kemerge? HELP!!

Ok new info...
I hid the .7 ebuild forcing .6 to be emerged. It dls, compiles and installs fine.
I tried to upgrade to .7 and it fails the same as the original 0.7 emerge.
Is there a problem with 0.7 or my OS?

Thanks.
-Walt
