Is it e.g. necessary, as it has been with Win9X, to explicitly enable printer sharing for printers directly connected to the winbox? Fortunately I have no Win2k here to test, but I'd check that. | They are all on the same subnet. I managed to get it going though - some of the suggestions that were made on this group got me going over the /etc/cups/cupsd.conf yet again and I finally decided to experiment by setting everything that could possibly be involved in limiting access to "All" - even the ones I was convinced weren't applicable. It started working after that. Then I turned the access down to "@LOCAL" and it still works. I'm not sure which one was killing it. I'm going to revert them one at a time until it breaks and figure it out... ....after I use it awhile. ;-) Thanks -Jeff |
