SElinux run_init cannot find your entry in the passwd file. authentication failed.

example:
run_init /etc/init.d/shorewall stop
cannot find your entry in the passwd file.
authentication failed.
at the beginning just after the stage3 and first reboot everything was OK
i.e. the system asked me for the password etc. I didn't spot the moment
when it turned off. It might be after the change of root passwd. For a
moment [connected by ssh] in one terminal it was still ok, and in the
other which was opened later it was like it is now i.e. it doesn't work.
any hints?
