| Searching with "emerge --searcdesc" and at the Gentoo OPD, I can't seem to find any shopping cart software for Gentoo. Is there none? Searching with Google, I find a lot of different programs, but common for all the ones I've seen so far is that they require the web server to have write access to directories inside the web root, and most of them even specify 777 permissions, showing that the authors has no clue about Unix permissions. This is not acceptable, of course. Do anyone know of a package for Gentoo, or, failing that, a package that will work under Gentoo, but where the author has at least a basic understanding of web security? Regards, -- *Art |
