Default Specifying wireless nic "id"
This is probably an easy one.
I have an Orinoco Classic Gold Wireless Nic and everytime I put it in
the slot it gets set to eth1. I was wondering if there is a way to
specifiy it as wlan0 instead? Am I missing something?

AFAIK it depends on the driver. Why do you care what it's called?
