| Ok, here's something that has me stumped. I have a syslog server that collects logs from various networking gear. Occassionally, syslog messages will have leading dots in front of them. (like ".Dec 15 ...." instead of "Dec 15 ....") I think that has something to do with the time on the originating device not matching up with the time on the syslog server, but I cannot find any reference to this in any documentation. Anyone have a clue? |
