| Hi, Anyone has got the Intel Pro WebCam CS431 or similar devices working in gentoo? Which option in kernel to enable? I have configured the videodev ,enable usb in kernel, compiled the driver provided by spca50X, loaded up the module at boottime and lsmod reveals the following modules were loaded : videodev and spca50x. lsusb reveals that my camera is detected correctly. However, no /dev/video device was created. What am I missing here? Thanks CJ |
