Default what happened to print in gimp

I just noticed after rebuilding scan-frontends with USE="gimp"
that gimp no longer has a print option under the "files"
menu when an image is open. I have gimp-print emerged.

also I got the following output from emerging sane-frontends.
It seemed to have built the package ok but failed at the end

Any ideas?

Thanks
