can somebody tell me which wireless card will be best to install Gentoo on
my desktop? which will be recognized by LiveCD (universal).

My Airport card works well

.

In my Gentoo-based AP, the NetGear card (can't remember model, sorry)
seemed to be picked up by the hostAP drivers well enough although I
believe the client-only drivers are in the kernel.
