Default Cannot set up Metalink login information in 10g EM Database Control

OS: Windows XP Pro
DB Version: 10g R2

In the EM Database Control I am trying to save my metalink account by
navigating to Setup -> Patching Setup. When I enter my login
information and submit I get the following error

Error
Invalid Data - Error: apply failed ORA-12899: value too large for
column "SYSMAN"."MGMT_ARU_CREDENTIALS"."ARU_USERNAME" (actual: 80,
maximum: 64) ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.MGMT_CREDENTIAL", line 1482
ORA-06512: at line 1

My username is 34 characters long (with our company going with the
firstname.lastname@company.com format) and the password is 7
characters. I see that the table definition is
SYSMAN.MGMT_ARU_CREDENTIALS
( ARU_USERNAME VARCHAR2(64 BYTE),
ARU_PASSWORD VARCHAR2(256 BYTE)
)

The code in the package SYSMAN.MGMT_CREDENTIAL is encrypting the
username and password and I guess the encrypted value of the username
is not fitting in the 64 bytes provided.

If I can't get this to work it is not a show stopper for me, but I'd
like to know if someone can tell me me what the maximum size of the
e-mail address can be so that the encrypted value fits in the 64 bytes
in the table.

Thanks

To be honest with you, I don't know the answer to your question. But you
obviously have a Metalink account, so why not post this a Service
Request to Oracle Support and have them give you the answer?

Cheers,
Brian
