The only legitimate reason I can think of for 'needing' this version is to maintain a production environment. In which case you must have a license and presumably have support. If you have support, and ask very nicely either of Oracle's Tech Suport or their Sales reps, they will often help you get a copy of obsolete software. If you do not have support, then we return to the validity of the word 'need'. (And if you really don't care about staying legal anyway .... look around on EBay, as there are unscrupulous people who will sell the CDs. I just ran across an auction for the 8i WIndows OTN Tech Track. <sigh>) /Hans |
