Do you know how to use google?

I would be inclined to recommend the puschitz articles but maybe other
ones are better?

What you appear to be trying to do is impossible. You can create
RAC clusters using laptops ... but precisely what is it you are
going to use for shared storage?

And while I can't say it can't be done ... I don't think Fedora
is going to work.

I dunno about the laptop, but I did it with a friend, on an external
FireWire disk. The version used was 9.2.0.6 and it worked.

A frequent contributor here, Hans Forbrich, teaches RAC classes
in Canada using laptops: Of course he also has a NetApp to provide
the shared storage.

You are correct that FireWire will work ... but the OP made no
mention of storage in the post.

Hi All,

Thanks all for your responses & notes.

I think it is possible, but now that i decided to implement it with
linux enterprise edition.

My purpose is to set up RAC on almost all available Major OS. Iam
trying this on myself and probably post sometime my work, which will
help improve my knowledge and also others who want to do so.

Please contribute your experiences.

thanks
