Search ( advanced) Google Newsgroups in comp.databases.oracle.* for Pentium 4

Here's is one workaround:

- Copy your CD-ROMs to the hard disk.
- Rename each copy of the symcjit.dll to symcjit.old.
- Run the installation from the hard disk (Disk1\install\win32\setup.exe).


If you can, use the 9.2 client instead..It is fully compatible will all server versions since 8.0 and has no Pentium 4
