Default Backp files

HI..

In SQL server , through enterprise manager we can specifiy an option
for "Remove Files Older than " ( this is to clean the backup file
directory").Is there a option in DB2 to specify like this ??

It's being considered for Stinger (our future DB2 release).

Applying a policy to save space with DB2 (i.e. garbage collection) can
be done today if you backup to a storage manager like IBM TSM.
