| Hi folks, I think I am not the only one to have some problems to access online Information Center ... It would be nice to have a service that responds quicker, without interruption, that is I guess the minimum we can expect from an "Online" help. Sometimes, it's (too often) terrible ! I come back with an issue on last year Information Center (V8.2): can we have a locally installed Information Center, AND updated from time to time with a Fixpack Doc ? Thanks, Jean-Marc |

| The DB2 9 infocenter is available for local install. You can download or order CDs from Passport Advantage; you can also download it from here: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...id=swg21255600. (You'll need to create an IBM ID first). The version of the information center at this link is the from the original release of DB2 9. You can also apply updates to a locally- installed information center. See http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce...c/t0008271.htm for more information. Regarding the other issues you've highlighted, M. Blaise: - We're working with the data center at IBM that hosts the information center to see if we can improve performance and response time. A significant system upgrade is planned to take place in a few weeks' time. This should result in markedly improved performance. - The team that develops IBM's customized internal version of the Eclipse help system is deploying a fix that will address some specific issues with the rendering of content in the navigation/index frame. Thanks for your feedback, and for providing the opportunity for me to (I hope) address your concerns.
