The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of DB2 UDB
database administration in support of Bank of America's GTS/GCIB
eCommerce and data warehouse databases. The DBA will work with business
analysts, project leaders, developers, and system administrators to
design, model, implement, and operate the application databases.
Specific duties include logical/physical database design, developer and
project support, SQL Tuning, instance and database tuning, shell
scripting, security management, backup and recovery, hardware/software
engineering, installs/upgrades and production support.

RELOCATION IS NOT PROVIDED.

Requirements: 5+ Years DB2 UDB database administration including:
Design, Perf tuning, Backup/Recovery, HACMP, Data warehouse and
Contingency database; Hardware configuration, Scripting (ksh, Perl),
Basic Unix administration (pref. AIX and Solaris), Basic TCP/IP
networking

Desired Skills:
Pluses include experience on DB2 UDB 8.1 (partioned/non-partioned),
storage area networking (SAN), replication, Foglight, HADR, db2 connect
and Financial Services industry experience
