| New problems :-/ And it all worked so well in the beginning when I got rid of Fedora core 6. The database started up just fine and I could find it using Discovery from my desktop pc. Then I started to restore and migrate databases and updated RH with the latest updates. When I restarted the server the shared memory was to small so I did set shmmax to 2 Gb and the database started just fine. The administration sever did also start but I can't reach it from neither my desktop pc or locally on the server. It just say that the administration server isn't running. I've removed the server and re-created it (dasdrop/dascrt) and it says that the server is up and running. I can't even add the databases manually on the pc. Does anyone know if there's anything in the RH update that gives these problems? I don't remember if there were a kernel update but I got the same problem (shared memory) with Fedora core 6 after I restarted and I think that it were after an update. -- /RE - never running out of problems |
