| Hi, I got some questions regarding the db2fm tool and its handling: 1. Why are the two parameters (FM_ON and FM_ACTIVE to get it running (and monitoring) - I think FM_ON should be enough. Any situations and scenarios where I would want to have the db2fmc running without doing its job? 2. What can I use the option -m <modulepath> for? 3. In which situations could the -t <service> option help? Is it possible to monitor (and restart) other processes (not just the instance)? The documention of this utility is not very helpful and not specific enough to answer all my questions. Some more samples would also be helpful I think. Thanks in advance for any help Michael |
