| db2 8.1 fp13 on Linux for zSeries (64-bit) Every invocation of db2pd except for the "-version" and "-osinfo" options gives following message: ======================================= Database Partition 0 -- Database FOO_DB -- Active Changing data structure forced command termination. ======================================= We've also running DB2 on AIX (same db2 level, but 32-bits), which has no problems with db2pd. Is anyone aware of any known issues with db2pd specifically for zSeries and/or 64-bits? -- Jeroen |

I was looking for an explanation my self the other day. For me db2pd works on most systems, but fails on one. I thought it had something to do with HADR, but it might be that it is doing more work. Anyhow, here is a link I found: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...id=swg1JR24668 /Lennart > > -- > Jeroen > |

This should be the one I'm hitting, as I am fairly sure we didn't have db2pd problems before upgrading to fp13 a couple of weeks ago. Looks like I've to upgrade soon again to fp14 or fp15. Our AIX servers are OK w.r.t. db2pd, it's the zLinux boxes that have problems ... Also, we didn't have problems before FP13, so this seems a perfect fit. Regards, -- Jeroen |
