PDE 8.2.2 untar problems

Has anyone been able to untar the latest PDE for Linux that is
available from the following link? I tried the Download Director and
the direct download to see if that made any difference. Both the times
the tar had invalid format. I sent the feedback to IBM from the
download webpage, but I received a generic reply with FAQ about "how to
download", support options etc.
