| Hi! With DB2 V9.5 (or earlier) Enterprise Server Edition you have the possibility to partition the database across multiple CPU's and or Servers. Thus DB2 can run "dataware house questions" in parallell across the partitions. Search DB2 documentation for partitioned databases. "Administration Guide Planning" has a good overview on the issue. /dg <cjshea@gov.pe.ca> wrote in message news:e12104c7-b675-4f9b-9410-fccd1564131c@34g2000hsh.googlegroups.com... > I am running DB2 UDB Workgroups V8.2 on Linux.
