I did this last week

first i installed just db2 v7 (on AIX)
then i want to run fixpack 10, but this was not possible, i first had to run
fixpak 4

Yup. I (for once, actually bothered to) read the installation notes
after having downloaded FP4 and it states that it requires FP3.

This is only the second time that I've ever seen IBM have a FP
prerequisite that is another FP.
