| Tim, the question is not if DB2 core runs but everything around it.... For engineering and development you can use 2.6 kernels but it is not suggested to try this for production at all -> see Haider and Blair mails. The distros did not pick up the 2.6 yet for a reason. I think the first one will be Suse SLES9 mid of the year that will be 2.6 ready and of course this will be then not only supported but exploited as well (it is very dull to "support" something just for the sake of it).
