Liao,

This thread has gone on for quite a while, so I'm not exactly sure what
we have/haven't done. Here's what I seem to recall... please correct me if
I am wrong:

1) We've verified that you do not have a SAMPLE database on your local
database directory. So you should not have a

2) I noticed that your SATCTLDB seems to be cataloged as a REMOTE database.

- Did you verify that this is the case? Please post the output of a
"db2 list node directory" command.

- If it is the case, is that normal? I don't know for sure, but I
don't think it is.

I'd suggest you see if you can create *any* database on your system:

- "db2start"
- "db2 create database testdb" (make sure database "testdb" didn't
already exist)
