V7.2, Linux - Join between multiple DB

Hello,
a "simple" question ...
I've 11 db on the same DB2 server.
Now I need to make some join between tables in different DB's.

I try with
create tcp-ip node
create wrapper
create server
create nickname
and it works but I cannot belive that there's not any other way to solve the
problem (also because the server estabilish a persistent TCP-IP connection
every time I connect to a table).

Thanks for any advice.
