Integrated Services

Hi All ,

Require some help and am hoping some can help. I am new to Integrated
Services usage so please bear with me.

The issue :-

1. I have a flat file which has information in it. One of the fields is
a datetime field. But it also holds some Text information(.i.e No
Logout Time). The problem I am having is how do I resolve this in SSIS.
The output destination is SQL Server 2005 db. I am using and oledb
connection to 2005. I have about 4 books on this subject and well
examples are rare but it does explain each task. What it does not do is
give an example of setting up a task to use the different data flows.
The other input columns I do not have an issue with.
>From flatfile input Source ----> x Dataflows ------> Destination Source

Can anyone help please or point me in the right direction ?
