| Hi, I am facing one more problem. As soon as i started the sql server first time, my windows 2000 machine reboots and i was not able to start sql server again. I had to uninstall and install again and this process repeats. Do anyone has idea about what is happening ?? Thanks a lot, Dinesh |

| Well, just a blind guess since you didn't provide any system config info, or network config info. Either you have bad RAM, or you are running an unpatched box exposed to the internet, and its getting hit with every worm/virus out there, causing it to reboot... Other than that, I have never seen an otherwise working machine just reboot as soon as the SQL Service is started GL "Dinesh Garg" <gdinesh@lucent.com> wrote in message news:c6bf62$7lv@netnews.proxy.lucent.com... > Hi, > > I am facing one more problem.
