Hello vidhya,

The best starting point would be the Kimball group series of data
warehousing books. They have just release a Microsoft Data Warehousing
tool kit which is worth a read when getting started. It covers
Methodology, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting
Services and of course the database engine.
