Default Displaying Dates as a measure

Hi,
SQL 2000, Analysis Services

Ok, I have a date dimension that I am using for enrollment dates in a cube.
How do I go about displaying the dates as a measure? When I edit the cube,
I can set the data type of the measure to date, but it still comes out as
an int or 1/1/1900 (or similar). Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bria
