Moving contents of Stored Procedure to a static table for quicker reports

Hello,

We're using Crystal Reports 9 to report from a stored procedure in MS
SQL 2000, but the stored procedure is rather long and this causes the
report to take quite a while to run. This data only gets updated once
a month, so is it possible to take the product of the stored procedure
and store it in a static table to report from? This way Crystal
doesn't need to run the stored procedure each time it updates it's
data.
