| Hi I am running Sql Server 2000 Enterprise on a Windows 2003 server with Analysis Services. Everything works good but AS had a long time to log in. I've instaled SP3a on the server and workstation. I have IBM Datacenter with 16 CPU and 64 GB RAM and GB-LAN. What should I do? Please advise, or at least give a hint on where I can find more info. Gl00bi |

| The same happened to me. I bet if you connect to the AS thru Analysis Manager directly on the server it'll work. The client tools somewhere else that on the very server seem to have some problems. | That is certainly a nice size machine. So you should have no problems locally. My guess is that your login time (i.e. starting Analysis Manager) is not being caused by Analysis Services but by your domain infrastructure. When remotely connecting to AS, we need to validate your NT credentials and ensure that you are in the OLAP Administrators local group on the Analysis server. Depending on your domain architecture this might take some time. -- Dave Wickert [MSFT] dwickert@online.microsoft.com Program Manager BI SystemsTeam SQL BI Product Unit (Analysis Services) -- This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. <lukasz.bielecki@interia.pl> wrote in message news:1107721038.256126.268270@o13g2000cwo.googlegr oups.com... > Hi > I am running Sql Server 2000 Enterprise on a Windows 2003 > server with Analysis Services.
