| I saved some packages as files on a windows 2003 sp1 machine running sql 2000 sp 4 Some of these files were always files some were in the MSDB database I saved them all as files since I need to run them in a sql 2005 environment. I downloaaded the sql 2000 dts components web file and also modified the sqlweb.exe.manifest as specified in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=917406 I still get the error message SQL Server 2000 DTS Designer components are required to edit DTS packages. Install the special Web download, "SQL Server 2000 DTS Designer Components" to use this feature. (Microsoft.SqlServer.DtsObjectExplorerUI) when trying to open the packages from the legacy folder in sql 2005 Any assistance would be appreciated Thanks |
