Default Unable to see sql server(newbie)
I have a Dell machine i have installed a C#.net application on it.
When i try access sqlserver on the server over the network i am unable
to connect. I am also unable to create a datasource . The problem is
i have a newer Dell computer right next to this one and i am able to
access sqlserver over the network.They are all on the same domain any
suggestions what could be blocking the older Dell .Any suggestions
will be welcome.

Are you getting any messages or errors? Have you checked the windows event
log? Does the computer that can't access have a firewall running?
