| when trying to create an ODBC System DSN to a SQL2k5 database, using either the old SQL Server or the SQL Native Client driver, the drop down list for selecting a default database lists master, msdb, and tempdb, but none of my user databases are listed. If I manually enter the name of one of my user databases, the dialog replies "The database entered is not valid". Is there a security toggle that I am missing somewhere? How do I enable user databases for use as ODBC DSNs? |
