Hi,

I'm running Windows XP Professional and Sql Server 7 and I keep getting
errors about losing my connection to the server. This happens frequently in
query analyzer and in VB 6 programs.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is the exact error that I'm getting from query analyzer:

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared Memory]ConnectionWrite (send()).
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared Memory]General network error.
Check your network documentation.

I supposed I should be embarrassed by continuing to post to myself, but I'm
beyond that. It seems that when I do not have a dial up connection to my
ISP, then my Sql Server does not disconnect me. However, whenever I am
online, this error occurs????
